Catholic Relief Service (CRS) President, Dr Carolyn Woo has hailed CSSC’s development and expansion in taking over AIDSRelief activities in the Lake Zone.
Dr Woo said that when she visited CSSC Headquaters in Dar es Salaam on 6th October, 2012 to meet new CSSC Executive Director Mr Peter Maduki and ART project implementing team.
The president was accompanied by Bishop Emeritus of Savannah Most Rev. J. Kevin Boland, Bishop of Salt Lake City Most Rev. John C. Wester and the Bishop of Venice, Most Rev. Frank J. Dewane and Tanzania Country Representative Mr Conor Walsh.
Early, CRS Tanzania Country Representative Conor Walsh was pleases with the positive relationship between CRS and CSSC adding that the situation is promising and contributed to positive development. “CRS has witnessed CSSC growth, taking over AIDSRelief projects while implementing other projects. We are happy to see a local organization is taking over what we were doing before” said Walsh.
Catholic Relief Services in Tanzania works with Christian Social Services Commission to provide high-quality HIV and AIDS services. Projects extend at the lake zone.
