Cardinal Rugambwa Hospital buildings to be handed over to Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam

CSSC is pleased to inform the esteem stakeholders that there will be a handing over ceremony of the additional buildings constructed at Cardinal Rugambwa Maternity Hospital Ukonga, Dar es Salaam.

The ceremony scheduled to be held on Monday 15^th October 2012 whereby the newly constructed buildings will be handed over to Catholic Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam.

The buildings which were constructed by CSSC through the support from the German Development bank (KfW) includes Outpatient Department  (OPD), two laboratory rooms, pharmacy, drugs store, nursing rooms, four consultation rooms, injection room, minor theatre, waiting lobbies, ICU room, physic therapy, scanning room, small kitchen for nursing and doctors, meeting room, x-ray room and toilets for both staff and patients.

The buildings consist of all the requirements as per Ministry of Health and Social Welfare guidelines is expecting to serve the entire population from Ilala Municipal and its neighboring districts such as Kisarawe and Mkuranga in the Coast Region.

The event is expecting to attract various dignitaries from German government and Tanzania government representatives, and other development partners to witness the historical event that has brought hope to many Tanzanian women towards quality reproductive health services provision.
